To answer your questions in order.
The phone is in mint condition (was kept in otterbox case); there may be an extremely small scratch at one of the corners, however barely noticeable. All the buttons work and function well. Yes I am the original owner and yes the phone is out of contract.

I can only reiterate the same sentiments. This phone was purchased brand new, sealed and in its original box. All buttons and functions work flawlessly and it has never been broken or repaired while in my possession.

With regards to the square not being in the exact center position; I can only "assume" that since the home button is a circle that "perhaps" with gentle use it has shifted (completely guessing).

All descriptions of the phone is indeed correct; that's the honest truth.
