Can I use an international forwarding company here on Swappa?

Here on Swappa, we allow our sellers to decide on whether or not they're comfortable with shipping to an international forwarding company due to the increased risks. The safest way to go about using a forwarding company is to ask a seller if they are comfortable with this arrangement before making a purchase. This will help avoid any issues or confusion post-sale.

If a seller is comfortable with this, the PayPal account that submits a payment for a device will need to be US-based to avoid issues. Since the majority of our sellers require a confirmed shipping addresses, we also expect the address to the forwarding company to be confirmed and properly attached to the PayPal payment.

Please also be sure to note that the seller's responsibility for the shipment ends when the device is delivered to the forwarding company. From that point forward, other individuals handle the shipment, and the seller cannot be held liable for the contents of the package.
